Overview

SkyLeger is a high-performance cross-platform desktop application engineered to manage drone lifecycles, maintenance logs, and ownership transfer audit trails under strict offline-first operational conditions.

By combining Rust-powered Tauri v2 with React 19 and TypeScript, the system guarantees low memory overhead, native OS file persistence, and robust cryptographic audit logs for drone fleet compliance.

Key Engineering Contributions

Architected a cross-platform desktop application using Tauri v2 (Rust) and React 19 with TypeScript for high-performance, offline-first drone lifecycle tracking.

Engineered an event-sourced audit trail with aggregate version control to record immutable history of drone ownership transfers and maintenance logs.

Implemented localized SQLite data persistence with custom storage folder setup, native backup/restore tools, and an inactivity PIN-lock overlay for security.

Developed a multi-tier Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system securing administrative functions across Super Admin, Registrar, Repair Admin, and Auditor roles.

Integrated Google Maps API for visual coordinate pinning of service institutions and automated CSV/HTML reporting pipelines for data exports.
