Overview

Energy & Solar Sizing Platform is a modular energy calculator, bill sizing wizard, and asset recommendation system designed to model energy consumption, tariff structures, and solar/water heater hardware requirements across multi-tier user workflows.

The application equips engineers and client consultants with direct, simplified, and advanced sizing calculators, backed by real-time WebSocket demand alerts, interactive time-series financial charts, and geospatial mapping.

Key Engineering Contributions

Architected a modular solar system estimation and bill calculator wizard using React 18, TypeScript, and Redux Toolkit, allowing users and administrators to estimate monthly required energy, model tariff structures, and calculate custom solar/water heater system sizing options across direct, simplified, and advanced estimation workflows.

Engineered a real-time event and notification pipeline using SockJS, STOMP, and RxJS Observables integrated with Redux listener middleware, supporting automatic reconnection, exponential backoff, and real-time system notifications and demand-control alerts.

Implemented robust centralized data fetching and security middleware using RTK Query code-splitting endpoint injections, secure bearer token authorization, automated 401 session invalidation, localStorage sanitization, and privilege-based routing protection.

Developed interactive analytics and spatial UI components including dynamic time-series charts, drag-and-drop layout builders, Google Maps geospatial mapping, and a dynamic system/dark/light theme manager synchronized with browser color-scheme preferences.

Extracted a reusable shared domain module for cross-cutting UI components, DTO schemas, and error transformers, while configuring environment-driven build targets for clean CI/CD deployment separation across client instances.
